Pets make us laugh. They make us cry. They make us laugh so hard we cry. Pets make our lives so much richer.
If you love pets as much as we do, then you’ll love a new podcast dedicated to our furry friends.
“PetMD’s Life With Pets,” hosted by dog trainer and author Victoria Schade, debuts Oct. 2, 2017. The show will cover pet problem solving, myth busting, lifestyle tips and topical pet stories with a variety of animal experts weighing in. Schade will also answer listeners’ questions and welcome pet-loving celebrities to the podcast, including comedian and TV personality Adam Carolla.
“My hope is that pet parents will be entertained by the show, of course,” Schade told Petcha’s sister site, PetMD. “But my greatest hope is that they’ll walk away from each episode having learned something new and awesome about our furry best friends.”
The first episode, available now, focuses on both feline and canine cognition and intelligence. Cat researcher Kristyn Vitale talks about “kitten camp” and gives tips for training your cat; stand-up comic Bill Engvall talks about his brainiac dog, Jake; and Schade answers a listener question about clicker training and discusses a canine intelligence test you can try with your dog.
