1608-1740 Prissy

Domestic Short Hair

Medium  |  Female

Virginia Beach, VA

Thank you for your interest in our adoptable animals. If you would like more information about this pet, see the Shelter information below. We would love to help you rescue a perfect pet!

Prissy is an adorable brown tabby that was found as a stray in Charlottesville in mid-June, abandoned and starving. Because she is FRONT DECLAWED she was unable to catch prey and feed herself. Thankfully, one of our own volunteers took her in and nursed her back to health but sadly she does not get along with her other cats. Prissy has been vet checked and is now back up to a healthy weight for her size. We are listing Prissy as "special needs" because she will always need to remain an indoor only cat due to being declawed.
Prissy loves people and loves to be petted. She will lick you and give gentle love nibbles. Prissy is not fond of other cats as she prefers to be your only kitty fur friend! Prissy tends to overeat and eat too quickly some brands that don't agree with her. When given certain brands, Prissy tends to eat too much and too quickly, which upsets her tummy. This may be because she was found starving... so a "slow eating" food dish may be ideal for her, as well as trying gentle formulas.
Come meet this sweet as sugar girl today (closed Tuesdays) and see if she won't be perfect for your family! Prissy is about 3 years old and will be scheduled for spaying upon adoption (if she is not already spayed). #1608-1740
