When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4948003 Ace | Pit Bull/Bull Terrier Mix
A4948003 Ace is a comical 6-year-old chocolate-with-white male Pit Bull and Bull Terrier mix who was found in La Puente and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on May 10th. Weighing 65 lbs, Ace is a true man-about-town who enjoys meeting new people and dogs. He could use some work on his leash manners because he does pull when excited; since he responds beautifully to positive reinforcement, he should be a quick study. He would enjoy going on walks or hikes, and will also appreciate an evening watching TV. Ace makes everyone around him laugh with his expressive face, which can alternate between earnest, eager, and laughing in seconds. He has a unique head and muzzle shape that is reminiscent of Spuds MacKenzie. Ace passed his shelter-administered temperament test, a testament to his good behavior around people and other dogs. Ace will be an awesome best friend to an active person or family eager to have a funny, affectionate dog be a central part of their daily lives.
