Please contact Lynn ( for more information about this pet.

Hi, Al here (aka Buddy). Don’t you think I am cute? I really like my people, and I want to be with you all the time. I love people once I get to know them. I would like a forever home with people who would be around most all the time. I am not pleased with being left alone and am good if put in my crate but maybe a bit noisy and anxious. Don’t leave me home alone out of the crate or I don’t know what might happen.

I am currently being treated for heartworms and am supposed to be kept quiet and have only short, easy walks. Just walk me around the yard or nearby and only on a leash. My foster mom has gotten me to understand that outside is for doing the potty things. I also am good when it comes to bedtime. I sleep in my own special butterfly chair in foster mom’s bedroom and not in the crate. When folks are around, I also rest on the sofa in the living room where I can look outside. Neighborhood activity doesn't get me excited; I just like to watch what's going on.

I am a sweet (cute, don’t you think I’m cute?) little dog and really want my forever home. I won’t be done with my heartworm treatment until September, and then in November they will retest to see if I have licked it. I think I would love to go on walks with people but cannot at this time. If I got more exercise I might not be anxious if left alone. I am currently living in a house with no other animals, and I might be too small for being with little humans as I only weigh about 12 pounds. Make sure you take care of whatever animals you adopt and prevent these pesky heartworms. It is a tricky process to get rid of them and those shots are so painful. I think (hope) I am done with the shots, and now we just need to stay calm and wait for the heartworms to dissolve and not have further trouble with them.

Contact my foster mom today to learn more about me! If you want to meet me, fill out an adoption application form with Brother Wolf and see if we connect.

All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
