Age: 2 years. About Me: I'm looking for that special someone. I tested positive for Feline Leukemia and won't be able to live with other cats unless they have Felv, too. I would either need to be your one and only or the boy you'd like to pair with another Felv+ cat. Here's a great resource if you want to learn more about my medical condition:
I'm an enthusiastic, happy, and active little guy. I like to get as high up as I can and observe. I'm not really a lap cat, but will sit next to you on the couch and snuggle. One of my favorite things to do is go in the cupboards and climb in the closets. I do a lot of running around and am your typical fearless boy. I'll vocalize to let you know when it’s time to wake up and when I'm ready for dinner. I'm have no problem letting you know I'm in your presence. Crinkle balls are my favorite toy. I also have a blast with large stuffed toys. I like to put them in a choke hold and kick at them with my hind legs. Treat balls and laser pointers keep me entertained and provide good stimulation, too. (I don't respond to catnip so don't waste your money.) Put your hand under a blanket, and I'll gnaw at the blanket, snuggle in, groom myself, and go to sleep. My foster mom says I'm like that kid everyone knew in kindergarten--the one who ate paste and was always getting in trouble for acting up in class. I'm all boy ... all the time. I'm curious, too, and have to investigate every person, bag, or shoe that comes into the home. A pug dog has recently moved in, and it didn't phase me any. Sometimes I'll even lay on the couch with him at the same time.
Who's that handsome black and white cat I'm cuddling with in the picture? That's Pepe Le Paw! He's also available for adoption thru Twin Cities Pet Rescue. Adopt one or both of us - you won't be sorry!
I'm neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.
