Alison- SUPER AFFECTIONATE and MICROCHIPPED

American Pit Bull Terrier

4 years, 4 months
  Female

Oxford, MI

Allison, our fun-loving, sweet heart rolled up in to a 3-legged package, is looking for a very special person. Being a tripod does not get this girl down, she is ready to play ball with you or to relax and chew on her favorite Kong. Allison has a custom made arm brace for her existing her and has a custom made front cart to help her get around with ease. She does not always need her cart but she does think it is wonderful. She is friendly towards every person she meets and loves to give kisses and get to get belly rubs. Allison is special in a other way as well, she has something called Color Dilution Alopecia. It is similar to human alopecia and is not contagious and does not affect her health, but it can not be cured. That beautiful blue fur coat Allison has sometimes comes with this issue. She is missing some fur, she is missing a leg, but she is not missing her loving heart!
Allison, I just know the right person will find you and love you. What they don't know yet is just how happy you will make them. You deserve to have a home with a family that will love you just the way you are!

Allison is sometimes picky about her dog friends so proper introductions will be helpful if you have another canine companion at home.

We do not have a facility for you to visit. WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to call (248) 834-9419 or email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP , which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $200 for adults and $275 for puppies, which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.
