2 yr old, 7 lb Chihuahua and Pug Mix Neutered Male for ADOPTION

CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG...

Meet Mr Alpine County! He joined us last week from Solano County Sheriff's Office Animal Care Division

Alpine is a 2 yr old, 7 lb Chihuahua and Pug Mix Neutered Male. He is also vaccinated, microchipped, free of parasites and has had his teeth polished. He had an injured hip when he first came to the shelter and had surgery to fix it at UC Davis and he is now all healed and is not expected to have further issues with it.

He has the personality of a pug wrapped up in a body that hopefully will spare him some of the health issues that pugs can have. We love his underbite!

Alpine is sweet and goofy. He loves people and snuggling and loves to play with other dogs. He is fine with cats and loves kids. He is doing well with his house manners and loves car rides. He is happy to go into the crate but expects you to take him out right away when you get home.

To make an appointment to meet/adopt Alpine, please email beourpet@gmail.com.

To sponsor all or part of Alpine's medical care and time in foster while he waits for his forever home ($300) please make a tax deductible donation at www.paypal.me/UOH, email us for a physical address to send a check or find our Amazon Wish List under Umbrella of Hope.

Umbrella of Hope is a non-profit animal rescue based out of Pittsburg, CA that rescues animals off death row from local shelters. We offer rebates of adoption fees after completion of obedience classes and CGC titles.
Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet. Some of our senior animals have sponsorships for their food/vet care/medicine for the rest of their life at our vet in Pittsburg, CA (94565)
