Meet our love bug, AMY!
Amy was found hobbling around in an industrial alley way. She had been hit by a car and no one stopped to help. She was found cowering in fear and crying in pain. Amy's x-rays showed that she had a fracture in her hind-leg. Despite the pain Amy was experiencing at the time of her rescue, she never stopped wagging her tail and giving kisses to her rescuers.
Amy was treated for her injuries and she now has a clean bill of health! She is three years old and weighs 50.2 pounds. She is active, LOVES to go out on leash walks. She tends to pull forward while on her leash walks, but after a while she calms down. She will do anything to please people. And she gives great hugs and kisses. Amy thinks she is a lap dog!
An ideal home for Amy would be an active family (without young kids) who can take her out on long, brisk walks. She needs a nurturing, responsible, and caring family. Amy is not crazy about every dog/cat she meets, but there have been a select few small dogs she absolutely adored to pieces. When she is outdoors, she is active. When she is indoors, she flops to her side for belly rubs and cuddle sessions.
