Independent, active, muscle man When it comes to describing Andy, his foster feels that, as with many other things in life, honesty is the best policy. To put it in Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs terms: at first Andy can be a bit "Grumpy". But give him just a little time to get to know you and he'll be well on his way to "Happy". His foster mom reports it's a really good feeling when Andy finally gets attached to you, as he did the first time she came home and he walked right up to say HI. And she feels confident that if you're patient and let him enjoy his independence for a bit, he'll will also hit you with a welcome HI. After that he'll very likely head butt your hand occasionally and even nuzzle a little. But snuggling is not in his repertoire. Thirteen-pound Andy is muscular and athletic and enjoys scampering around the house chasing imaginary foes as well as very real laser dots provided by a human playmate. He definitely prefers wet food (at 5 years old, he knows what he likes). His foster feels his best home environment would be child-free, with a single person or a couple looking for an active and free-spiritied companion, but not a snuggle buddy. Once he feels secure and loved, he'll be just about the sweetest cat we could imagine. How's your imagination?
