If you have second thoughts about adopting a stray or abandoned dog/pup, please check out our "Successful Adoptions Page" and see how many dogs we have already placed into loving homes. Be sure to check out their happy endings under "Happy Tails!"
Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Angolina is a "pocket" pup with a HUGE heart! "Although you may look at me and think that I am a pittie, I am only part pittie. DNA tests concluded that I am a mixture of German Short Haired Pointer, French Bull Dog crossed with American Staffordshire Terrier and a little Lhasa Apso."
This girl is AMAZING, and is a very petite (around 35 lbs.), 8 year old puppy at heart. Angolina LOVES, LOVES people, and is a well-mannered, non-destructive, happy girl. She still walks around with her stuffed animal in her mouth and enjoys her long walks. She is looking for a family that would enjoy just having one dog to spoil, as Angolina doesn't care for other pets for company - but is not overtly aggressive with other animals.
She'd be a wonderful companion to anyone that would like a dog in their life, but don't want or need multiple pets to care for. We are looking for either a foster or permanent home for our girl. If you are interested in fostering her for us, we cover all her needs - you just provide the home and love.
