Anna Mae has had a rough life during her first year. Her litter mates didn't survive being neglected on the front porch last winter but someone was looking after this little sweetheart. When her "owner" died the rest of the family ignored her and wouldn't feed her! Thankfully a neighbor stepped in and things are going better each day. Through all of this her little spirit couldn't be brighter. She has a funny personality and seems to wake up each day just happy to be alive.
Anna Mae is great with other dogs and ignores them if they want to be grouchy. She is also very good with cats. Although she hasn't been tested with children her disposition would work with kind gentle school age children who will respect her.
Although Anna Mae doesn't present any health problems she does have an overbite - but it doesn't seem to bother her. In fact you can't even tell - it just adds to her charm! Our vet says she should have dental "rinse" added to her water each day.
Anna Mae will need a fenced yard to keep her safe.
