I’m April and I’m a female, liver & white parti-colored Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail. I’m about four years old and I weigh about twelve pounds. I’m a spunky and very friendly girl. I’ve been good and easy to handle with all of my female human friends. I’ve met some nice men too…but I’m sometimes afraid of men at first. I’m a little high strung when I first meet new people in general and I probably prefer a calm, relatively quiet home. Since I seem to have some gender sensitivities, I cannot go to a home with young children, at least for now. I love to be held and I love attention in general. I was a little vocal at the vet’s office as new people came in and out but once in SRT’s arms, I quieted right down. I don’t think I’m a noisy girl when I’m in my normal routine. I have enjoyed playing with other four-legged friends and I get along well with others. Clarification – dogs. I like dogs. Cats? Not so much (but they are fun to chase). I’m crate trained and house trained too! I’m even leash trained! I’m car trained too…which means I like going places with you! So let’s get together. No more blues! Click the ‘Adopt’ tab, complete your adoption application and put me, April, as a dog of interest.
