Aspen is a beautiful, full-blooded Turkish Angora boy. His is pure white with odd eyes, meaning that he has one blue eye and one green eye. Aspen is a wonderful boy - sweet, loving, playful, and gorgeous, but he is also special needs and will require an experienced and patient adopter in his purr-fect fur-ever home. So, why is Aspen a special needs kitty? First of all, Aspen is completely deaf. That makes disciplining this independent boy, who is still very much a kitten, a real challenge. It also makes Aspen fearless around other cats, dogs, and strange people, which can be extremely dangerous. Second, Aspen's long flowing coat mats very easily. He requires daily brushing that he will usually tolerate, but not always. Lastly, Aspen wants to be the Alpha male in his house. So, although he would rather have another kitty in his new home to play with, that other kitty must be okay with his wanting to be the one in charge. But, if his new adopter can handle all of his special needs, Aspen will reward him/her with undying devotion, love, and affection. He will follow you around like a dog and sleep with you at night. So, could Aspen be your purr-fect match?
