I am really sweet natured and calm girl who would love a kind home. I would love to go on regular excursions with you to the dog park or beach and then come home for some quality cuddle time. I would also make a great second dog as I feels more at ease with another furry friend and gets on well with others. My previous owners told me I got on well with kids, house trained and that I knows my basic manners. I have a really beautiful, soft nature and a heart of gold! Come say hello to me today!
"I’ve got some mad ball dribbling skills!
I really like my kennel. It’s a place of my own that I don’t have to share with the other dogs or humans. I’ll choose to chew my bones and sleep in there if there if the door is open.
I was really sick at the human society before some fabulous ladies took a chance on me and saved my life! I had a very bad skin infection which is why I was surrendered by my owner’s family when she left me with them. The kind people at HS gave me medicine for my skin but not my for my kennel cough which turned into pneumonia. I had to spend a few days at the emergency clinic before I could come home and was on abx for 3 weeks! Now I eat AvoDerm food and my coat is soft and thick!
No one ever taught me impulse control so I’ll jump for something you have that I want, like toys, squeakers, bones, sticks. For this reason I need to go to a kid free home.
It was noted that I growled when the shelter or veterinary staff would stand by kennel when I had food. I haven’t done this at my temporary foster mom’s house, but she leaves me be when I eat. She can stand close to me and fill my water and I trust that she is not going to steal my food so there’s no need to let her know it’s mine.
My ideal foster home would be as only dog or someone comfortable with crate and rotate if they have other pups. I like having my own room when I live with other dogs. I like my fenced in backyard, but walk well on leash with the proper gear. I really need someone to give me some space while I get to know and trust them, however I’ve loved everyone I’ve met so far! (We require a commitment of two weeks to let Baby settle in to her new environment. You will be given instructions that must be followed to make sure we’re setting her up for success.)"
