United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4996130 Bacon | Border Terrier Mix Puppy
A4996130 Bacon is a picture-perfect 5-month-old light-tan female Border Terrier mix puppy who entered the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from Baldwin Park on September 23rd. Weighing 5 lbs, this itty-bitty girl is quintessential puppyness! She’s snuggly, loves people, wants to play (and then sleep), and even shows signs of house training already. Like all blank-slate pups, she’ll benefit from learning the puppy basics, which will build her confidence as she learns to please her people, and will mold her into a canine good citizen, ready to meet and greet other dogs and make her people proud. Bacon (and you know you can rename her, right? LOL) will be a delightful indoor pet and companion (and purse or pocket baby) for any individual or family (whose kids, if any, know to respect her tiny size) who’s ready to bring a sweet puppy into their lives.
