Barnaby. What do you think a Barnaby would be like? In real life, I mean, not in a book or a story or something. A Barnaby might be a goofball or a sidekick or an adorably happy feline companion and…that’s exactly why I am named Barnaby! Because that’s who I am to a T. I am just as friendly, sweet, and goofy as they come and I can’t wait to find an amazing forever family to give all that love and happiness to.
In addition to being so friendly and happy with humans, I also haven’t met another four-legged creature I haven’t liked and I just ADORE my dog friends in my foster home! I like to cuddle with them and follow them around the house like I am part of the clan. So I would do just great in a home with dog companions (as long as they are friendly to kitties, of course!) I also am a very polite housemate and am completely litterbox trained and love just lounging around the house when my foster family is away.
One thing to mention is that I do have FIV, an immunodeficiency virus, which means that I will very likely live a long and happy life but I might have a weaker immune system as I age. Therefore, I need to be an indoor cat only and be on a nutritious diet to help me stay healthy. Also, for your information, FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs. Our adoption team is happy to fill you in on more details or answer any questions you may have!
So, if you’re looking a happy, goofy, and incredibly sweet cat to be your best buddy, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/catadoptionapplication/. You most definitely will not regret it!
