BARON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Baron Breed: Chihuahua Mix
Approximate Age: 2 years SEX: male
Approximate Weight: 12 lbs
Has Lived With: dogs
Currently Living at: Overcrowded rural shelter. When Baron arrives in the DC area, he'd love a foster home, or better yet, a forever home to come to!
Special adoption considerations: Chi mixes are sometimes nervous around little kids, so at this time, Baron needs to go to a home without kids, or kids over 15 years old.
Baron is a 2 year old chihuahua mix, 12 lbs. Baron is beyond the puppy stage, so that means no crying at night or late night potty breaks once he figures out housebreaking! Baron would love to show off that you can teach an older dog new tricks, and he can't wait to show you how impressive he could be in obedience class.
All he is looking for in a future home is love, lots of tummy rubs, a few walks a day, some yummy treats, and a comfy spot to curl up with you at night. Baron is a tiny fellow, so he'd be perfect for an apartment or condo. He gets along with other dogs, so he'd be happy to join a pack if you have one, but would be equally happy to soak up all the attention himself. Wouldn't you love to come home to that sweet face every day?
Like most shelter dogs, Baron may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. We don't know how he does with kids or cats, but let us know if you have kids or cats and we can try to find out for you!
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Tori L. at ToriL@LuckyDogAnimalRescue.org!
