Baxter was surrendered to DLT in need of serious dental work- he had to have almost all his teeth extracted due to infection and related problems. Since then, Baxter is a whole new dog- he is energetic, has a good appetite, and is much more comfortable than he was. Baxter is not a youngster by any means, but other than the dental work he is in relatively good health- he's heartworm negative and has decent vision and hearing, as well as a happy temperament. Baxter is good around people, very much appreciates a comfy home, and will look even better once he's had long enough to fully recover from the dental and get groomed. Baxter came to us with Bradley, who is much younger. The two are not a bonded pair, we just want to make sure they each go to an age-appropriate environment. You seldom get a dog as cute and loving as Baxter, especially one who has already had the expensive age-related veterinary care provided. At this point, Baxter is there to enjoy, and he's waiting to share his love with the right forever household!
