Little Beatrice is an old gal who has the biggest, spunkiest attitude! She’s an 11 year-old senior dog with some health issues, but that doesn’t slow her down too much nor kept her from enjoying her twilight years.
Her forever home will need to be able to care for her and help her through various health issues, which include chronic pancreatitis, heart murmur/disease, periodontal problems, and luxating patellas (bowing kneecaps, which cause some pain). She also experiences overall senior issues including some incontinence, cataracts (partial blindness), and deafness – all of which are manageable issues. Bea is on daily heart medication and a strict prescription diet, and will need to see the vet from time to time.
Beatrice lives with her foster mom and a young child, four other dogs, and one cat. While Bea is definitely on the timid side, she is very social and loves everyone she meets! The ideal home will be a quiet one where she will be able to go outside often and have companionship either with her humans or other dogs. She is so super friendly and has never met a stranger!
Do you want to help this little lady live out the rest of her twilight years?
