My husband, son (almost two) and our baby girl (coming in November) are in search of a loving home for our two doggies since we will be moving to South America and cannot take them with us. Please let us know if you are able to provide a caring forever home for these two!!! We have crates, collars, leashes, bowls, brushes, toys, and more for their new home.
Becca (brown brindle) is a sweet and loving 45 pound pitbull mix who has been in our home for the past 7 years, and will be turning 8 in November. We rescued her from a farm when she was about 1, where there were lots of other animals. She is great with children, and loves to spend time with people! She enjoys going for walks and walks very well on a leash. She has anxiety around other dominate dogs. She would do best in a home with her friend Titan, whom she has known since he was just a puppy. When we are at work, she usually stays in the living room, and enjoys lounging around, or watching people pass by the house (she will let you know if someone is coming to the house). When you get home, Becca will greet you, snuggle with you, and be your best friend! She would be a beautiful addition to any family home.
Titan (blue brindle) is a six year old pitbull mix, who is about 95 pounds, and is goofy and energetic. He is good with children, and does enjoy giving kisses (just watch out for his tail). We rescued him when he was 8 weeks old and he has stayed in family houses with cats, but likes to chase them around, so not sure how great he is with cats. When he first meets you, he will be very excited, and his tail will be wagging like crazy (in fact I think he shakes his whole back end), but he does not jump up on anyone. Within a few minutes though, he will calm down and relax. Although he is a big dog, he is a big baby. He gets scared during thunderstorms, and will want to be right next to you, maybe even in your lap, to feel a sense of comfort. He loves to run or go for walks, and is good on a leash (walking both dogs together can be difficult...they walk better one at a time). When we are at work, he usually lays around the house (he likes the cooler spot by the door), and will stay in a specific area closed off by baby gates. When it comes time for eating, he loves food (but is still kind and has never shown food aggression). He has a special bowl that slows him down while he eats so he doesn't just inhale it. You can put both of the dogs in a sit, stay command, and they will wait for you to release them to eat (Titan will start to drool though). We think he is allergic to chicken, but we just buy food that has other ingredients, and he is fine. He would be a great addition to a family!
