United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4993802 Bella | Shih Tzu Mix
A4993802 Bella is a vivacious and friendly 10-year-old gray-and-white female Shih Tzu mix whose owner surrendered her to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 16th saying he could no longer keep her because of landlord issues. Weighing 10 lbs and possessing a darling underbite (and some teeth that need a good cleaning), Bella is self-assured, composed, congenial, and ready to be part of someone’s life. She’s great on leash, has a medium energy, and wants to meet and greet every dog she encounters. She’s highly likable and well-suited for just about any living situation, including one with kids (as long as they are old enough to respect her small size), although we’re thinking she may be extra-perfect for a senior whom she can accompany on walks and other little journeys, as well as one who likes the idea of having an armful of warm Bella!
If you are interested in Bella, please contact her volunteer UHA adoption coordinator, Kristin, at 626-393-6258 or email@example.com. — at County of Los Angeles - Baldwin Park Animal Care Center.
