Looking for an all-around new family member?? Meet Baxter. He is a 7-8 year old, 40 lbs mix of Yellow lab and we think Pointer. Abandoned in the country, he quickly found safety with his foster mom. Baxter is a sweet senior boy, who loves to frolic with his young female and senior doggie companions. When one of the girls is resting in his doghouse this clever doggie creates a diversion, getting them to investigate the commotion; they fall for it and he quickly takes possession of the doghouse. He loves to ride in the car with his head out the window gleefully sniffing the delicious scents of Spring, tongue hanging out and legs firmly planted on the door armrest. He is affectionate, loves tummy rubs and leg massages. Baxter walks well on leash, is crate trained for bedtime, and house trained. He would do well in quiet surroundings or with other senior doggie companions. Baxter's endearing appearance features an all white face, pink nose and long white legs. We've given him a birthday of March 26, 2008. HHS
