Brownie was found in a vacant field in Richmond in late 2015. He had been someone's pet: he was well fed, no scars or wounds, and was friendly once on leash. He has been fostered by a couple with another pit; they get along well.
Since his rescue Brownie has had all his vaccines and been neutered and chipped. He weighs 60 lbs. He is a young (under 2 years?) male, though, and full of energy and love. He goes for 6-mile runs with his foster mom. Brownie is good with kids, not so much other dogs until he knows them.
We want Brownie to find a forever home where he will get lots of exercise and love, training, and be an indoor/outdoor pet and part of the family. He's smart and eager to please, and does not want to be a backyard security device.
