My vet thinks that he is a Boxer/Lab mix. He was born around the summer of 2012.
Buddy is very playful and energetic. He loves jumping and playing with his tennis balls and other toys. Buddy loves to put his head in your lap to be petted. He also loves tummy rubs and ear scratching. Buddy loves to play with children. Buddy plays for hours with the neighbors lab mix. He also gets along well with the other neighbors doberman. Buddy does not do well with cats. I don't know about small dogs. He chased a deer one night but never caught him. He is 50 pounds. He will eat dry or can food.
I was able to teach him to sit one weekend. He needs to learn more discipline, but seems to be very trainable. He has classic boxer personality traits that will need to be addressed if brought indoors.
He was able to be leashed at the vets for the week that he was neutered and received all needed vaccines. I leashed him for a week or so while he got used to being at a new property. He was afraid at first, but the neighbors and I gained his trust after a couple of weeks.
