Buddy Jones must be confused. He was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was too old to care for him. He's a mix of Collie and Hound, both fine breeds. He's about one year old and weighs 55 to 60 lbs. So, he's a big boy, and he has a big heart, too! He is sweet, sweet, sweet, plays well with other dogs and absolutely loves attention! Especially having his tummy scratched!!! And he loves, loves, loves playing with his toys!!!This boy needs a new home with just the right family! Yours? **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.**
Adoption: $285 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, food, medical records, spaying/neutering, and an Alabama State Health Certificate.
Transport, if needed : $120.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip from Alabama. Heather and David are the owners of the transport vehicle; they typically drive the 22 hours accompanied by one or two foster moms. The trip is punctuated by stops so that the dogs can have some leash and relief time, time to stretch those dog legs, a snack and some water. They make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.
