Hello, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Callie, or as my foster mom likes to call me, "Riley". I was picked up as a stray, and am now lucky enough to learn how to live in a foster home. My foster mom wants you to know that I am "very timid" and will need someone with the patience to allow me to come out of my shell. I will need time to trust you and to build my bond with you. I am not aggressive and even allow my foster mom to pick me up. I have heard my foster mom saying that she wishes she had a glimpse into my past to know what I might have gone through during my young life.
A little more about me that you might like to know, I am working on crate-training, although I much prefer to be out of the crate. My foster mom likes the fact that I am house-broken and that I ride nicely in a car. I find that going on walks can be alot of fun. My foster mom has me sit nicely when she is putting on the leash and taking it off. I pull a little in the beginning, because I get so excited, but then I settle down and walk at a regular pace. I stop when my foster mom gives me the command to, she says it is part of my training. My foster mom takes me to public places, and when she sits down somewhere, I eventually settle in and lay near her. In the morning after I have been out, my foster mom will let me jump up on the bed to say good morning to her. She rubs my ears, and it feels so good.
There are two dog friends in the house I am living in currently that I enjoy playing with. We get along famously and have fun playing tag around the yard. I am not quite sure how I feel about living in a home with young children, as they can be noisy and very active and that scares me.
I just want you to know that I am looking forward to having my "forever home". If you think you have what it takes to show me what love is all about, I would totally love to hear from you and get the chance to meet you. I could someday be the best friend you ever had.
Thank-you for reading my bio, "Riley"

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
