This hot mama is Carrie! She is an approximately two year old, fawn colored, female Chihuahua who was abandoned along with her one pup, Charlotte who is now 5-6 weeks old. Carrie is a great little mom and has come a long way since coming into her foster home.
She is housebroken and has only had one accident since being fostered. She walks very well on the leash, but prefers to poop and pee without being tethered. Carrie is very affectionate, preferring to lick on the lips rather than the face! She loves to sit in in her foster’s lap while they work on the computer, and lays alongside them on the couch. It was apparent she was used to sleeping in a bed given the whining she did the first night, but happily sleeps in her new doggie bed with Charlotte. Carrie is afraid of squeaky toys and does not like to play with things, but does enjoy hiding her Denti Stix treats.
Carrie barks at strangers that come into the home, but it seems to be more because of Charlotte, as out in public she is fine. She wags her tail vigorously when her foster comes home, which is a real improvement from when she first came into their home. Carrie has definitely come out of her shell
Carrie definitely has a cute personality and comes when her name is called. She will definitely make a great companion to her furever family!
