Casper was found as a tiny throwaway at a Piggly Wiggly near Nashville. She was brought to someone who had a momma cat (Alice) who had finished nursing her kittens. The momma cat nourished and loved Casper, so Casper thrived. The person who "rescued" Casper thought she was the ugliest kitten she had ever seen and wanted rid of both kitten and surrogate momma, so Almost Home stepped up to take them both under their wing.
Casper is now in a foster home and loves to be with other cats and kittens. Alice found her new home and Casper has a lot of new friends.
Meanwhile, Casper has become very interactive and curious. Her body is becoming longer, her tail puffs and her fur glistens! She knows her name. She has short little legs and big ears and her blue eyes seem to be turning gray. She enjoys chasing balls and attacking feather toys. Life is a joy for her and she is very adventurous. Her purr is more of a deep growl, which she may have learned from her surrogate mom.
Casper is nothing short of beautiful and just plain adorable. She is more than likely going to stay a tiny kitty.
