My name is Celina and I came into the Nowzad shelter in 2011. I had been a stray dog that was taken care of by the local guards in the area that I lived in which was very close by to the nowzad shelter. I was very friendly to all that I saw and would often visit the nowzad staff at the shelter. The nowzad staff made sure that I got a meal every day as well.
As time went on I got more and more friendly and started spending more time with the nowzad staff and there was concern that I would end up being culled as part of a population control program so it was decided I would be safer if I stayed with nowzad permanently.
It took me a while to settle in, I was used to having my freedom and I would often escape and the staff would have to come and find me.
Once I had settled I became quite comfy with my new routine, I get to go out into the exercise pens every day and I have a lovely kennel mate called Precious.
I would dearly love a family of my own but I need a family who will take me on long walks and more importantly has a well secured garden just in case I decide to revert to my old escape tricks!
I have not been tested with cats but I am good with other dogs. I am very chilled out and laid back, I don't really play with toys and prefer to just have lots of cuddles from the humans.
I am spayed, vaccinated and chipped.
