Check out Champs webpage http://saccountydogs.com/2016/06/22/champ-2/ for photos and more.Dogs just don''t get any more gorgeous and charming than Mr. Wonderful here, also known as Champ. Not only does he sport beautiful eyeliner and a winning smile, this boy is an all-around dreamy family companion who adores children as well as people of all ages. He was born to be someone''s beloved best friend, and the lucky person who brings him home will appreciate what a true champ he is.
Champ is in a foster home where he has thoroughly impressed his foster family. They report that he is a big softy, 80+ pounds of pure love, and that he is seriously one of the most handsome dogs they''ve ever seen. But beyond looks, they say he is lovable, playful and just the right amount of mischievousness to keep you laughing at his silly antics. Champ is a smart and people-focused boy who already knows `sit` and `down,` and he is learning other manners like sitting and waiting patiently for treats/meals and to go through doorways. He is also learning to be crate trained and is doing well with it. Champ loves to play in the doggie pool, and he adores playtime with the other dogs in his foster home, especially the younger ones. Considering his size, he is pretty gentle with them.
He loves people, especially children. You can see it in his body language when he sees a child. His whole body wiggles even more than when he meets adults, which his foster family didnt think was possible. When he was first found as a stray, the family he stayed with had a 6 year old child that he adored. Champ is currently being fostered in a home with two resident cats with two very different personalities, one skittish and one confident, and he is very polite with the confident cat.
As well-rounded and utterly amazing as he is, Champ is going to be the dog of some lucky family''s dreams. He in foster care, so you can fill out our application and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you''d like to meet him.
