This adorable little girl is Charlotte. She recently weaned her ten puppies and is enjoying her well-deserved retirement from motherhood very much. Charlotte hasn't had the easiest life and is very scared of new places and meeting new people. Once she has time to warm up after proper introductions, she is a goofy and silly girl. She will need time and training to help her become the best dog she can be. Charlotte is good with other dogs and is crate trained. House training is progressing as well, and she usually does well as long as she has access to the yard. She knows sit for treats, and is learning how to walk on the leash with her foster sister leading the way as an example. Charlotte still gets scared by loud noises and new people, and we think she would do best in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes and remind her that she doesn't need to be afraid all the time. She has not been tested around young children or cats. If you are interested in meeting Charlotte and giving her the forever home she so deserves, fill out an adoption application on our website without delay!
The adoption includes the altering of the dog, current vaccinations, and microchipping. For more information on the adoption donation and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.labsandmore.org and click on "Adopt." You will find our online adoption application there as well. Once you are approved to adopt, we will discuss how to meet our available dogs. Our dogs are NOT housed at our mailing address. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Thank you for reaching out to rescue a dog in need of hope!
