Hello, my name is Charolette. I am a black and creme shepard mix 5 mos pup. I was hit by a car when I was about 12 weeks and left for dead by the side of road. If it wasn't for one of the rescue groomers heading to work and seeing my head move in the shrubs on the side of the road, I would not be trying to find an active home in WA or OR right now. My whole body had intense road rash and I had two broken legs. I have been in casts for a couple of months. I am in a foster home with dogs and cats, which I love to play with. I am always happy and am medium energy. I love toys and hanging out on the couch. I will do best in a home where someone is home, there are children to play with and another dog, as I get very lonely by myself and love to play with others. I would probably do well in a home where someone has vet tech or physical therapy experience and lives near a lake or river so that my new owners can continue working on strengthening one of my feet /legs that has muscle atrophy. I should be ready for a 15 + year home in August. If you are a serious adopter, please fill out an online inquiry form at www.dogdiggityrescue.com under adoptable dogs.
This is a courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at email@example.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate.
