Chip is being fostered in New Ulm, MN
Chip is a 7 year old male boxer mix. He was found homeless by animal control - after the normal wait hold, NPBR was contacted. . This boy has warmed up quickly to humans and loves snuggles! He is very affectionate and nuzzles his head into your lap or onto your shoulder. Chip is slow to trusting other dogs, his foster home will be working on socialization. He does have benign oral tumors, called epulis, which has affected his dentition. Although his smile isn't perfect, it is beautiful! He is excellent in his crate and has had no accidents! Chip already understands 'sit' and 'come.' Chip also stomps his paws adorably when he gets excited! Even at his age, and although he doesn't know how to play with toys (yet), Chip is full of spunky energy and compassion to fill any home with love.
