Please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting one of our pets.
We strive to place each of our foster pets into the most appropriate home possible. Since we are a network of foster homes, we get to know each of the animals and know what home would work best for the pet.
Clifford is a big red dog you say? Well, I'm Clifford the big red cat. I came to Spot as a transfer from a big city shelter. I was skinny, dehydrated and sick with an upper respiratory infection, but even then, they knew I was special. I'm all better now, and putting on weight. I'm great with other cats and I love people! I like to tap my foster mom on the shoulder with my paw just to remind her I need pets. I need to be indoor only which is fine with me. I've had enough of street life and nasty fights. That's how I got FIV. I can live with other cats, because I'm a gentle giant and I get along with everyone. Two things to know about FIV, it only affects cats, our lifespan isn't any shorter than non positive cats, and it is only transmitted by deep bite wounds.
All SPOT animals are spayed or neutered, received age appropriate vaccinations, parasite control, cats are tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped which includes registration, a post adoption exam at a local vet, a 7-day in home trial, and discount coupons for food and supplies at a local pet store,
Please fill out the cat application /cat online form or dog application /dog online form to be considered for adoption. A S.P.O.T. volunteer will get back with you for an interview.
