Cooper is a 10-year-old, 40-pound Beagle. He's a mellow dude who's as happy going on a walk as he is lounging around the house with you. Wherever he goes, Cooper has a sweet disposition and an "I'm friends with everyone!" personality that is immediately endearing.
Thanks to his calm demeanor, Cooper does well with other dogs of all sizes and gets along with cats, too. And he doesn't need much to be entertained. He's often his own best company, running around like crazy in a burst of energy before collapsing in a pile of Beagle right next to you.
Cooper is very good in the car, whether he's roaming free or crated. He's good at home alone, too. He's house-trained and quiet as a mouse when you're gone. He wants nothing more than to be a good companion for his new family.
He has been dealing with some ear and skin issues that are starting to resolve, and he's getting healthier and happier. When he first came to us, he was pretty much shut down, not understanding what happened to his family and the way of life he was used to. Thanks to the love and attention of his foster family, each passing day brings him out of his shell more and more.
Cooper's guardians are getting a divorce, and sadly, no one could keep him and give him the care he deserves. They made the difficult decision to re-home him.
