Rainy is a 1 ½ year old orange and white Brittany mix. She is petite ball of Brittany energy at only 30 pounds. She has a charming smile, a black button nose and a flowing full tail.
Rainy came to NBRAN because of her destructive behavior. This little girl has been to the shelter two times in her short life. Now that she has received adequate daily exercise and mental stimulation, she has shown no signs of digging or boredom. Rainy must go to a home with another playful dog. She loves to play with her 3 other foster siblings. She will play tug and enjoys chasing balls. But her all time favorite game is “chase me” and "catch me" if you can.
Because of Rainy’s hurtful past, she is suspicious of new people at first, but once she gets to know you, she is very friendly and craves attention. She is eager to please and highly trainable. She likes to vocalize, so an apartment will not be suitable for our little girl who loves to be on the lookout patrol. She loves to watch for other dogs, people passing by and of course squirrels. She will actually jump in the air after them. Therefore, a 6 ft wood fence will be necessary. Rainy has a sweet disposition and would do best with dog experienced children over 10. Because she is so focused on squirrels, a home without small animals is best. Rainy needs a family that will help her build her confidence and become the wonderful little girl she is meant to be.
Rainy is healthy, UTD on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, (on preventative), spayed, and micro chipped. Rainy’s adoption fee will be $325 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. Transportation can be arranged up to 1200 miles at no additional cost.
If you are interested in making Rainy a part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.NBRAN.org, Adoption Center, Adoption Application. Once the application has been completed, you may email Lora at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional questions.
