NOT AT SHELTER
My name is Jax. I was adopted from the shelter 3 yrs ago. I'm a great dog and my family is heartbroken that they can no longer keep me. My family is splitting up and it's a tough situation. They love me dearly and want the best for me. They would like me to go to to a new home and avoid going back to the shelter. Will you please consider me? I never bark (except in my sleep) and I've never chewed up anything in our house nor have I had an accident. I'm housebroken, neutered, and up to date on shots. When I first came home from the shelter, I had separation anxiety but it quickly subsided after a few weeks once I realized my family would return. I may go through this again but I will adjust - don't worry. I am not a fan of the crate but I am fine in the house. I do like to run so my family does not recommend for me to be left alone for too long in the fenced backyard. I need some training when the front door opens or have my leash on so I don't decide to see what's out the door and go for a run. I currently live with cats and children. I like to other meet dogs on walks and sniff them but my current family hasn't had me loose with a dog. I am great with children!
My current family is very sad that they are unable to keep me and are worried about me being in a new environment again, but they have no other choice. Please contact my mom, Kara at firstname.lastname@example.org, as soon as possible with any information about me. I only have a few weeks left before I need to be in a new home and I'd like to avoid going back to the shelter too.
