Cowboy came from a not very wonderful breeder situation, but he's incredibly social for a dog with that background. He is also very appreciative! Cowboy spends most of his time enjoying being indoors on comfy beds, getting enough to eat with good, premium pet food, and beind treated with love by the people he meets. Cowboy's teeth were so infected he had to have all but two lower teeth extracted. He is also heartworm positive, although at his age we are going with the recommendation to do the "slow kill" method, which consists of monthly preventative so no new heartworms form while those already on board die off at the end of their life cycle. Cowboy is a good boy, and other than having a bit of confusion over the whole housetraining thing, he's a great pet! He is learning rapidly and now that he's neutered we are optimistic the house training will also improve. It's our pleasaure to welcome Cowboy to a better life that he very much deserves and is thankful for!
