United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4993848 Curly | Shih Tzu
A4993848 Curly is a loving 8-year-old white-and-brown male Shih Tzu who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 16th as a stray from El Monte. Weighing 14 lbs, Curly is a sweet boy with a calm disposition. He gets along happily with people, as well as with other dogs (including his kennel mate at the shelter), so he may be a good candidate for a household with canine siblings. He has a low-to-medium energy level that is good for both regular walks and couch cuddling sessions alike. He also shows signs of being housebroken. With his namesake curly coat and relaxed attitude, Curly will be a cute and loyal indoor pet and companion for just about any household.
