Daisy had a rough start in life. She was brought to the shelter with three little babies that she took such great care of. These babies were all adopted out, leaving Daisy alone at the shelter without her little ones to care for. She would cower in the corner of her pen, defeated and scared. After settling in to foster care Daisy slowly started to come out of her shell. She started trusting humans again after she had been failed by them. Daisy is now such a happy girl, becoming the loving, obedient and affectionate girl she used to be. She has learned sit for meals and treats and is 100% housetrained using a doggie door. During the day she is content to find a sunny spot and nap, she is always happy to take a walk and wiggles her butt furiously every time she sees her leash. She can be shy at first when meeting new people as she has encountered not so nice ones in her past, but warms up over time. With dogs she is immediately at ease and has never met one she hasn't liked instantly. Once she trusts you she will make you feel like the most important person in the world, nudging you to give her a snuggle. Daisy is most deserving of a loving home and the right home would be very lucky to have her.
