What's up, Danny here! I'm a 1-year-old neutered male Pit Bull. I'm a big boy at 64 pounds but I'm full of love! I enjoy cuddling with my person but before that, we better go for a walk because that's one of my favorite things in the world! I'm pretty strong so I'll need to go home with people who have some prior experience and are strong enough to manage me! I'm really treat motivated and already know many of my basic commands. I recently went on a group hike with lots of other shelter dogs and the volunteer who took me noted that I'm pretty good in the car and was very well behaved while on the hike. The shelter's experience and time with me so far tells them that my new adopter and I would benefit greatly from an obedience class. In this case, it is required of my new adopter. To find out more about me and meet me, please ask for Danny, #A801497.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close.
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650/340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor or 650/340-7022 x823 anytime to hear a recording of our available animals (updated each morning). Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
