Two-year-old Denny and his buddy (maybe brother?) Vinny were part of a group of dogs who were abandoned in a house when the owner moved and left them behind :-( Luckily, they were found and rescued in time, and in their foster homes they discovered just how good life can be! Denny quickly caught on to crate-training and housetraining, and enjoyed a life filled with toys, bones and belly rubs.
Denny was recently adopted, but it turned out that he and his new family weren't quite a perfect fit, so now he's looking for a new place to hang his leash. His foster mom told us that Denny is a "velcro boy" who prefers being near his people and/or other dogs, so a home with a canine companion would be ideal for him. However, he finds cats a little too interesting, so no kitties for Denny, please!
Because Denny is a shy boy who can be very fearful in new situations, he'll need a patient, understanding adopter in a quiet home where he can relax and let his sweet personality shine through. A securely fenced yard where he can exercise is a must, and he would do best in a home with at least one other dog for company. Weighing in at just 35 lbs., he's a perfectly medium-sized boy who won't take up too much space in his new home ... how about yours?
Want to learn more? Please stop by an upcoming Meet & Greet to find out if Denny is the right doggy for you! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.)
