My name is Diogo, I am a labrador size mixed breed male dog. I started out as a part of a feral pack of dogs that were being fed at the compound we lived on. Unfortunately there was an incident where one of my pack was poisoned and died and it is believed I was also poisoned and I was brought into the nowzad clinic having seizures.
I was very sick on arrival, I was having seizures every few minutes but the nowzad vets did not give up on me. It was not clear what had caused my seizures but I did respond to the treatment and within a couple of months I was weaned off the treatment and have not had any further seizures.
I have settled in well with the other dogs at the clinic and I absolutely adore people. I love to play and I also love to just chill out and get cuddles. I love treat time as well!
I would suit an active family and will do just fine with another dog or 2 in the family. I am not tested with cats.
Other than the seizures I had many months ago I have no known health issues and it is not known if the seizures were a one off caused by poison or maybe because of the heat. I am chipped, vaccinated and neutered.
