All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out.
No, you don’t need your eyes checked! Dizzle is a kitten with a beagle rescue. We like to refer to her as our “beagle” kitten. Dizzle is a 6-month-old orange tabby girl who's full of spunk and joie de vivre! She came into animal control with injuries that suggested she was hit by a car, so she has limited use of her back legs. She doesn't let that keep her down, though - she'll play with any toy (or willing cat!) she can find and moves much faster than you'd expect. She's also a purring machine - she purrs when she's playing, when she's hungry, and when she's excited to see you!
Dizzle is energetic, playful, and adventurous. She loves to play with toys and the other cats in her foster home, and does well with the dogs too. She uses the litter box consistently and is vaccinated, combo-tested negative for FIV/FeLv, and is current on flea prevention. Dizzle is also receiving regular cold laser therapy and gaining strength in her back legs!
Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. We definitely encourage people who are interested in adopting, even if they haven't found the right dog yet, to fill out an application. Our process can take as long as two weeks (we work day jobs!) so having an already approved application speeds things up considerably when you see a dog that catches your eye.
