Here's a Cinderella story for you, out of nowhere. Dolly Lama jumped ship in Georgetown and now she has joined us in Austin. She's a young, friendly dog who should have no problem fitting into most any family environment.
Dolly Lama is just emerging from puppyhood, but she's quite mature for her age. She definitely likes to play tug (preferably with another dog), and enjoys a good romp in the yard. But she calms down nicely after exercise and likes to get in plenty of relaxing as well.
Big licker, the Lama. She is very affectionate and likes to get cozy with pretty much everybody. She's never pushy about it though. She loves all people, and she also gets along with other dogs. She's been a good playmate at the shelter and in her foster home.

Don't worry, those bare spots of fur are growing back in after we helped her get over a case of mange.
She's also shown great leash manners. She's been a pleasure to walk, and she knows her basic commands. She'd be a great match for a family who would love to give her a couple of walks per day so that everybody can get their exercise!
If you adopt Dolly Lama, will you receive total consciousness on your deathbed? We're not making any promises. So will you get a little something for the effort? Well, we're pretty sure that you'll receive a fun, loving companion who should be with your family for years to come. You'll have that going for you, which is nice. Don't forget that APA's behavioral team will be available to help with any questions. Plus, remember that when you adopt you'll help us free up space so that another dog can join us at APA!
