Approximate Weight: 5 lbs as of 9/15
Has Lived With: other dogs

Hello humans! My name is Dot. I am just a little squirt and I love to play and have lots of puppy wrestle sessions! I want to spend these fall days rompin' around in piles of leaves. Maybe we could even go swimming...I would sure love to try to learn how to doggy paddle! They tell me dogs are usually good at that sport! My dream would be long walks, doggy parks, peanut butter kongs and a warm bed to call all mine.
Since I am so young, I am a blank slate ready to be trained and molded into your perfect pup! I will probably be good with kids and cats since I am just a puppy but I have never lived with them officially so if you have a feline friend my lucky dog friends can test me out!
I'm just a little gal so I'll need lot's of looking after. I'm sorry to say that if you work 9-5 away from home you aren't a good fit for me unless you can show documentation of a multiple times a day dog walker.
Dot is not old enough to have had all of her vaccines. It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, he is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.
Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.
Due to her young age, Dot has not yet been spayed. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 2/15/17.
Like most puppies, Dot will need to work on her housetraining. Dot will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Megan at firstname.lastname@example.org!
