Good with other dogs?: No, must be the only dog in the house.
Doyle is working on his relationship with other dogs. He is doing well. But, would probably be best as king of his own castle.
Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat
Good with children? yes
Activity Preference: Will go with the flow
Doyle's favorite things: Doyle is super easy. He doesn't ask for anything. He loves a good bone. Just loves to be with you.
Doyle is good at: meeting people, staying in a crate, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing, catching balls/frisbee, following commands
Ideal home: fenced yard
Training Needs: other: Keep working with Doyle to let him know other dogs are not a threat. Let him know you are there to protect him and keep his space safe.
Health issues: Doyle is almost ready to start heartworm treatments by early October. He will need a calm, quiet place to recover and go through his treatments.
Meet Doyle This tall, baby-faced, gentle, good boy sure does get loads of attention. Doyle is just so beautiful outside and in! He is a big love. He hasn't met a human he doesn't love. His genuine love of people shows instantly.
He's a good listener, loves car rides (doesn't hog the radio), likes to go for a nice walk or two, and will hang out around the yard or house with you while you do your thing. Doyle is affectionate and loves to spend time with you but isn't a needy guy. He does amazing in a crate and is totally house trained. His big paws and lanky legs remind me of a puppy when he is being playful and silly. He seems like an awkward little pup. It melts my heart. He is pretty smart too.
Doyle is really just a nice dog and so good. He is a treasure!

Looking for a well mannered dog able to go to work with landscaping crew. At least a year n half. Please no time for house breaking. Live down the shore. Plenty of loving care and dog savy. Thank you
