Dunn is a young fellow who enjoys both exercise in the yard and snuggling on the couch. He gets along well with most other dogs, loves to initiate a game of tug-o-war, and takes correction very well when the other dog is no longer interested in playing. However, we would not recommend that he be in a home with a cat or rabbit, due to his very high prey drive. Dunn is very smart and incredibly food-motivated, so he’s been incredibly easy to train. He does well in his crate during the day, and obeys Leave It, Wait, Sit, and a host of other commands taught to him by his foster mom. Although this handsome fellow seems like the perfect family pet, he would actually prefer to not be in a big family. He has very high anxiety when meeting new people and prefers only being around a small circle of humans (and preferably calm, adult humans at that), whom he has been introduced to slowly & carefully – he’s kind of a doggie introvert, one would say. We’re looking for a home for him that will honor his boundaries, not push him to be very human-social, and will help him be the best dog that he can be. Approximate Birthdate: 06/2013
