Proving that some of the best pups come in small packages is little guy, Dwyer! Dwyer arrived at The Barking Lot in August, 2016 with a small group of dogs from San Bernardino. Initially a little shy upon arrival, Dwyer has warmed up to his surroundings and the volunteers at TBL and proven himself to be a dog who lives for cuddles. Dwyer would make an ideal lap dog/errand-running dog as he just wants to be where his most beloved people are! At three-years-old, Dwyer is fully-grown at 10 pounds and has a nice, calm energy that is sure to soothe anyone even on their worst days. Given his handsome mug, gorgeous coat, and beautiful coloring, we think Dwyer is a mix between a Yorkie and a Lhasa Apso. Given that presumed breed heritage, Dwyer might be a great a dog for homes with allergy-sufferers. Speaking of his low-shedding coat, Dwyer will require some regular grooming to keep his mane primped and fancy! Dwyer gets along well with other dogs, currently sharing his kennel with several other little pups. During play time, he’s happy to relax in the play yard, choosing a nice, warm spot to sun himself. Dwyer is also great with people, and while he might be a little shy when first meeting new people, he warms up quickly and is then happy to claim their lap space as his own. His small size makes him a perfect fit for pretty much any living situation, and he is quite the gentleman on the leash. What are you waiting for? Submit an app for this little super star today!
