Eli is a handsome gray Weimaraner who was surrendered by his owner with his sister, Ellie. They are buddies but do not have to be adopted together. Eli is funny and quirky, and a big love bug. He knows how to work his people! He loves to snuggle (he'll even crawl under your blanket) and thinks that since he's on the smaller size for a Weim, he would make a perfect lap dog! Eli is friendly with other dogs, but would do best in a house with no other male dogs and no cats. Eli does not like his ears pulled (let's face it, who does?) and can knock down younger children when he's running, so he would prefer a family with older children or no children. He loves running as fast as he can around a large yard, and loves playing fetch while you are outside, but prefers being indoors with his family. Eli is a smart boy...he already knows commands like "sit," "stay," "down," and "here."
Eli's ideal family will make sure he gets plenty of exercise, will work with him on training and house manners, and will make sure he has plenty of positive outlets for his energy. They will also make sure he gets lots of snuggles and kisses.
